Samantha, 12, from Sutton, ON, is an avid ice fisher who loves the outdoors. She joins her cousins on Lake Simcoe every year to ice fish and skidoo. Ana, 11, is an artistic kid from Harrowsmith, ON, near Kingston. She is learning the art of glassblowing and bead making from her mom, a multi media artist.

The Swap: Watch as Ana braves the great outdoors and learns to ice fish for the first time, prepare it for dinner, and compete in the Canadian National Ice Fishing Championship! Meanwhile, Samantha will be experiencing Ana’s artistic and eclectic lifestyle by learning glass blowing, eating tofu with Ana’s friends, and making jewelry in their in-house studio.

"My swap was very exciting. I have never before done glass blowing, I did not even know what it was all about. I had a lot of fun and I really liked Anna and her family. I did not like the food I had to try for dinner. It was very different. During my swap, I was scared two times. First when I was meeting Anna's family, as I am a little shy and if felt awkward. Then I was scared a bit when I was working with the hot glass, because I did not want to burn myself.
The thing I will remember the most about the swap are the people. Even though I had a great time learning how to do the glass blowing, I really enjoyed meeting Anna and her family.
To the crew, you are all excellent people. I hope you had as much fun as I did. It was very nice meeting and getting to know each of you. I am glad I had the opportunity to be a part of swap tv, it will be an experience I will never forget."

"I was most scared when the snow storm hit the lake when we were ice fishing, and we could not see in any direction. I felt lost in the snow. I was most proud when I caught a fish, and live released it back into the water. It was a lot of fun to be on TV. I would do it again anytime."
