Fifteen year-old Samantha comes from a family of performers. She's of Italian heritage and her family makes homemade tomato sauce in their backyard every summer. Samantha's passion is the circus arts, especially the flying trapeze. Thirteen year-old Joel's family owns and runs Wilderness Tours, and outdoor adventure resort in Beachburg on the Ottawa River. Joel and younger sister Katie have been white water rafting, kayaking, and mountain biking since they were little -- their lives revolve around the resort. Samantha's never experienced the "great outdoors."

The Swap: Samantha kayaks and faces the rapids for her very first time! Joel's certainly not scared of heights: he loves to rock climb and repel, but how will he do with the precise nature of the circus arts? And how will he handle the chaotic DeAngelis household where there's never a dull moment?
